Parents and children got stuck into making a new sculpture for the garden at the New Parks Children’s Centre as a part of the BIG-UP New Parks project year 3.
Parents had a go at a range of wood carving and decorating techniques and worked together with their children to produce hangings for trees.
The finished sculpture was unveiled in May 2014 and is now a permanent feature in the garden.
