Autism Outreach

Soft Touch has been working with the Autism Outreach Service, doing photography, and animation sessions at their centre in Kingsway North.

The work has been done with a small group of students who have expressed an interest in art and creative activities.

One student has been learning Adobe After Effects to help his animation skills.
Another student was particularly interested in traditional black and white photography, so the group has taken photos with various cameras and learned how to develop the films.

The negatives were then scanned in so the students could work on them.
Two other students have been very keen to improve their digital photography skills and have also been bringing in their own photos to work on in Adobe Photoshop.

We are hoping both of these students will be contributing to our next photography exhibition.
All the students have expressed a wish to continue working with Soft Touch in the new year.
