The group of young people had already taken part in making adverts for the Media Asian Sexual Health scheme and this project provided them with their own idea for a five minute film. The group got involved with all stages of film production including the acting.Family Flavour is a comedy drama which looks at generational expectations within Leicester’s Asian communities. The film has been shown at local community venues.
This short film was funded by First Light, a scheme set up to encourage young people to develop interest and skills in film making.
