Current and past projects

Here are some of our current and past projects.

A “pop up” prison cell is being used to teach young people about the reality of receiving a jail sentence. The Crime and Time initiative saw the realistic portable cell taken to schools, youth groups and groups of young people identified as being at risk of offending.

Hundreds of children enjoyed brick building at a Lego fun day. The half-term event, hosted by Soft Touch Arts, encouraged children and parents to get creative with Lego.

A group of Gypsy Traveller Health Ambassadors have been working with Soft Touch for 6 months in 2014 to design health promotion materials for their community and for people who have limited reading abilities.

Style your space is a free nine week course that helps adults learn new skills that can be used to improve their home.

Our new building was employed as the setting for this experimental night of terror before the builders move in.

Soft Touch constructed an “Elves workshop” for the New Parks Winter Extravaganza which was held at New Parks Leisure Centre on Saturday 7th December.
