Current and past projects

Here are some of our current and past projects.

Supporting young people to succeed through music mentoring.

Soft Touch worked with students at Hamilton Community College and Babington Community Technology College to create two series of books for secondary aged students who are at an early stage of learning English as a second language.

The installation was the result of a visual and audio dialogue between young offenders in Glen Parva Young Offenders Institute and a group of young men considered to be ‘at risk of offending’ from Nottingham.

Eleven young women contributed towards the magazine, which included writing, photos, poetry and questions and answers.

Through the Media Asian Sexual Health (MASH) Fund, Soft Touch worked with young people to make two TV adverts with safe sex messages for national and local Asian TV.

We used the medium of animation to work with year 5 pupils on the topic of changing states of matter. The project was part of our Creative Partnerships programme in Mellor Community Primary School.
