Works of art created by residents have gone on display at a community centre. The artwork includes beadwork, paper flowers and silk paintings and is mounted in display cases at Eyres Monsell Community Centre.

The project to develop the DVD has been led by Leicester City Council’s youth service, supported by Soft Touch Arts, as part of their Big Up New Parks programme.

Exactly five days after winning the Leicester Mercury Business Awards in the not for profit category we had more great news when Erica Smith won a Lord Lieutenant’s Award at County Hall on Tuesday 8th April 2014.
