Here are some of our current and past projects.
Over the summer of 2016 Soft Touch had the opportunity to run some community drumming workshops as part of the City festival Clash of drums Event.
As a result of working with Sustrans on a consultation project in December 2015; an opportunity to improve a small car park area on Braunstone Gate arose.
The Inside Outside Prison Art Exhibition is a culmination of months of hard work by a dedicated group of young men at HMP Glen Parva, who create artwork for themselves, for loved ones and to brighten up the prison surroundings.
MiXT-UP Travellers is a strand from our MiXT-UP three year music programme. The Travellers sessions work with young people from travelling communities, and participants range from aged four to fifteen.
As part of funding received from Ambition, young people that attend our STart sessions produced artwork and music for their Work and Progress exhibition at Soft Touch’s New Walk building.
